Irwin & Leighton’s leadership is composed of our Executive Officers that have an average tenure of over 20 Years with Irwin & Leighton. As a company, we pride ourselves on the longevity of the tenure of each of our employees and promote growth from within.

Travis E. Gedney

PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

As President and CEO, Travis provides executive direction for Irwin & Leighton including the acquisition of work and operations of the company.

Travis began his career at Irwin & Leighton in 1998 as a Project Manager and with his attention to detail and devotion to the company, has grown through the ranks to his current position of President and CEO.

Through Travis’ vision and leadership Irwin & Leighton continues to live up to its well earned reputation for excellence.

Gregory R. Waller

VICE PRESIDENT - OPERATIONS

Greg has been with Irwin & Leighton for over 20 years starting out as a Project Manager and moving his way up the ranks to where he currently resides as Vice President- Operations where he is in charge of overseeing all of Project Operations. In addition to his success in the field, Greg’s proactive management approach, attention to detail and ability to work with the team makes him a strong leader.

John P. Mullen

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

John Mullen has worked for Irwin & Leighton for over 25 years, starting out as a Project Accountant and later was promoted to Treasurer. In 2014 he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Irwin & Leighton where he oversees internal financial controls and project finances.

As CFO, John leads the Accounting Department, acts as head of Human Resources/Benefits and manages the overall financial stability of the company.

Philip C. Colaneri, Jr.

VICE PRESIDENT OF ESTIMATING & PURCHASING

Phil has been in the construction industry for over 35 years, over half of which has been spent with Irwin & Leighton. He started as a Project Estimator and has, over the years, proven himself as an asset to the company which in turn has helped him move through the ranks until reaching his current position of Vice President of Estimating & Purchasing. Phil is responsible for preconstruction, conceptual estimating, cost estimating, bidding, purchasing and working with the Senior Vice President on the overall management of the Estimating Department.

Phil’s depth of industry experience, leadership skills and tireless dedication to cost savings for our customers adds an unparalleled value to our estimating team, to our customers and to the company as a whole.
