Helm Building Renovations
The project consisted of renovations to all four (4) floors of the Helm Building located at 330 Alexander Street in Princeton, NJ. The scope of work included new partitions, glass entrances, carpet, paint, acoustical ceiling tile, lighting, furniture, and MEP infrastructure to support University Services on the 1st and 2nd floor, Admissions on the 3rd floor, and Registrar and Financial Aid on the 4th floor. Irwin & Leighton was engaged early in the design process to provide preconstruction services including budget and schedule development to support the aggressive project turnover deadline. I&L worked closely with Princeton University, Janisak Biddle Architects, and Seeler Smith Associates to allow for occupancy of these departments that are critical to the University’s operations in advance of the 2019-2020 academic year.
